"With a rare free weekend from kids and work we scrambled to find a weekend get away when we found this ABSOLUTE gem. Tucked away in the quiet hills of Salinas this hidden getaway will keep calling you back. I will attempt to keep this as brief as possible because I could go on and on. Jim was an amazing host and extremely attentive and responsive to any needs we had during our stay. While we didn't get to meet Cat, we could see her touch throughout the entire property. The space is incredible, vast, and offers something for everyone, from beginners to experts. If you want to cuddle in bed in what feels like a cabin in the woods, you can. If you want to relax together in the jacuzzi or have an intimate encounter in an outdoor soaking tub in what feels like the middle of the forest, the option is there. If you're new or exploring like us and want a safe an private space to broaden your horizon, then you can do that too. Whatever your desired journey is, Jim and Cat at the Monterey Stay and Play provide a warm and inviting home and space that molds to your personal adventure. With so many ways to play as well as relax and take in the location, two nights was not nearly long enough. However, we walked away with a deeper connection and greater appreciation for one another. A truly unforgettable weekend. Oh, and the breakfast...AMAZING! Read the reviews and expect for your tastebuds to still be overwhelmed and blown away We're not breakfast people but we delayed our initial departure time to stay for breakfast our last morning.
