The Monterey Stay and Play is proud to cater inclusively to the BDSM and kink community. Owner Jim is lifestyle dominant and has built and equipped our room and board for your total enjoyment. Through the years, we have accumulated a vast array of bondage furniture and equipment that we make available to you.
Your dungeon away from home is in a separate building behind our main house. When you arrive, you will be escorted to the building where your fantasy can begin. Jim will give you a quick tour of the space then leave you to total privacy. You will not be bothered during your stay! Of course, since we live on the property in a separate building, we are always available to answer questions or give advice. And don’t get to check out our beginner’s guide to bondage!

Breakfast and Dinner
All guests receive complimentary breakfast when staying with us. Breakfast can be served either in the main house or in the R&B. The menu changes depending on season and availability, but frequently includes eggs, muffins, toast, homemade jam, coffee, cake, cereal, yogurt, granola parfait, fruit and more.
Snacks, soft drinks, coffee and bottled water are available at any time. Special accommodations can be made for dietary restrictions.
We also keep a gourmet chef on staff and can prepare an optional gourmet dinner upon request. We’re happy to speak with you about making the necessary arrangements.

Monterey Stay and Play is proud to feature a new on-site photographer, Subversive Visions, an experienced professional specializing in fetish-friendly and erotic photography designed to capture imagination, intimacy, and self-expression. His work is displayed throughout the B&B so guests can preview his distinctive style before booking. Whether you’re interested in intimate portraits, partners exploring their dynamic, or building a personal erotic portfolio, Subversive Visions offers discreet, high-quality sessions in a safe, private setting.
Pricing and Package Options:
– Portraits and Poses at $250 for a one-hour session with 5 edited images and 15 proofs.
– Partners at Play at $350 for a 90-minute session with 10 edited images and 30 proofs.
– Personal Portfolio experience at $500 for a 2–3 hour session with 20 edited images and 60 proofs.

Local Attractions and Destinations
Our BDSM getaway in Salinas, CA is located in a rural area about 7 miles from the ocean and just a few short minutes’ drive of many great restaurants and other eateries. We’re happy to direct you to a number of local favorite places, including for great seafood and cheap, cheerful eats!
We are also located just 20 minutes from a number of beautiful California Central Coast destinations, including Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach and Santa Cruz. For our lodgers coming to us from out of town, we’re about 40 minutes south of San Jose International Airport and about 90 minutes from San Francisco.
